NEW "COUNCIL CONNECTION" BLOG POST - JOINING PROCESS UPDATE

Equity President Allan Teichman has added a posting to his "Council
Connection" blog. 

* We've been talking about this for a while now, but work on a new
joining structure for Equity is now complete. At the final in-person
meeting of the 2009-2012 Council, the necessary bylaw changes were
implemented and the amendment details will be circulated to the
membership within the next two months. In a nutshell, we will be moving
from a system that prioritises immediate joining, to one that
prioritises informed joining...

The "Council Connection" blog is available at EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com) or at http://councilconnection.blogspot.com. It
shares the doings of Council with the Equity membership and most topics
will reflect issues currently or recently under review by Equity's
national Council. The blog also supports several subscription options,
including RSS, for those members who wish to receive it automatically.
