Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Acting Up Stage Company believes in hiring performers of all ethnicities
and racial backgrounds and, unless specified by the text, all roles are
open to performers of all ethnicities and racial backgrounds.

Additional information:
Audition Requirements: All actors are asked to bring photo and resume to
the audition.
If chosen for an audition, actors will be sent two songs from the show
to prepare and will also be asked to bring in a Craigslist listing of
their choice as a monologue.

Looking for:
MALE:  Looking for an ethnically diverse performer. Any age. A tenor
with some range. An authentic voice, that can dip into rock, folk, jazz,
and gospel. Ability to play an instrument (other than guitar, piano or
percussion) is an asset. All types welcome, with comic chops and quirk.

Only those actors being invited to audition will be contacted.  We thank
all applicants for their interest.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
