Winner of the Toronto Fringe's Best New Play Cntest, "Potosí" is an original work written and directed by Alexander Offord

We are looking to cast one (1) male actor in the role of:

- SOLDIER (25-45), a native of a poor, distant country who has spent his life working in a silver mine run by a Canadian mining giant.

The play is set in an unspecified country with a predominantly non-white population. The part calls for a visibly ethnic man.

The ability to speak a non-colonial language - i.e., not English, French, or Spanish, etc. - will be considered a strong asset.

As this is a Fringe production, actors will be paid through collective profit-share, as per Equity requirements. Other cast members include Nicole Wilson, and Sean Sullivan (Equity member, good standing.)
