Additional Information:
Based on actual events, Comrades tells the story of Nicola Sacco and
Bartolomeo Vanzetti, Italian immigrants, and passionate advocates for
equal rights. They were wrongly convicted for the murder of two men in
Massachusetts in 1920. Sacco and Vanzetti were executed in 1927.  

Characters:
Nicola Sacco - 36 yrs. old.
Bartolomeo Vanzetti - 39 yrs. old.

Sacco and Vanzetti have been in separate prisons for 7 years, but
continue to communicate through letter writing.
Sacco and Vanzetti play multiple characters during flashback scenes.
Must be able to speak with an Italian accent.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
