Acting Up Stage Company is seeking submissions for NoteWorthy—a program that
brings Canadian composers, lyricists and playwrights together to explore
artistic collaboration in a paid, intensive two-week writing laboratory.
Experts in musical composition, lyric and book writing lead masterclasses at
the start of the program. Then, through the program facilitation of Robert
McQueen (Director of New Musical Development), participants work in three
different writing partnerships generating short musicals from either
original ideas or adapted source material.

The program will offer the participants the opportunity to strengthen their
craft, meet new collaborators and further engage with the growing community
of theatre creators across the country who are generating exciting Canadian
musical theatre works. We are specifically looking for artists who are
interested in creating new musicals and are open to collaborations with
others.

Program Dates: December 3-16, 2015 (daily, except December 9 & 14)
Round-trip transportation will be provided for participants from outside of
Toronto, in addition to the weekly fee.
