Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: 
Red Betty Theatre is dedicated to the presentation of diverse stories,
told in the voice of diverse actors. It encourages submissions from
performers of all cultural backgrounds.

Call for Submissions: Rukmini's Gold by Radha Menon. Winner of the 2015
Toronto Fringe New Play Contest 

Red Betty Theatre is now accepting submissions for its upcoming theatre
production of Rukmini's Gold written by Radha Menon and directed by Wes
Berger. The play tracks the passage of family and diaspora as the dawn
of industry and locomotion determine the global movements of labour.  

The production is part of the Toronto Fringe-July 1st-12th 2015. 

We are accepting submissions for the following roles:
WASESKWAN ET AL. (Female, 16-30, South Asian or Indigenous): This actor
will double as multiple characters. Confidence with accents would be an
asset.
ARUN ET AL. (Male,18-30, South Asian): This actor will double as
multiple characters. Confidence with accents would be an asset.
 
Audition Dates: February 14th
Application Deadline: Feb 12th
Requirements: Audition will consist of a cold read, and interview.
 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under the CAEA Festival
