COUNCIL'S SAFE WORKPLACE SURVEY BEGINS NEXT WEEK

Council is undertaking a national survey of the membership on the topic
of promoting safe and respectful workplaces, free from sexual or
personal harassment, bullying, discrimination, and other behaviours that
create a toxic work environment. 
 
We want to hear from you on this topic. Your response is important to
us, whether or not you have had a past experience with a toxic workplace
situation.
 
The survey will provide us with basic data on member experience with
workplace issues of this type, and help us identify challenges members
may have faced in seeking a prompt and effective response. Council is
updating its policies and processes in this area, and the data collected
will allow us to target those changes to greatest effect.
 
Links to the survey will be sent out by email on January 12, to all
members in good standing for whom we have a current email address. The
survey will be active for two weeks only, so please take an early
opportunity to respond when you receive the link.
