Additional information: AUDITION NOTICE - MODERN TIMES STAGE COMPANY 

The Modern Times Stage Company is seeking actors for roles of male
characters between the ages of 20s - 50s for its production of "The
Death of the King" in March and April 2016. "The Death of the King" Is
an award-winning play by the Iranian playwright Bahram Beyza'ie,
translated and adapted by Soheil Parsa and Peter Farbridge. Soheil Parsa
directs.

A co-production between Modern Times Stage Company and the Theatre
Centre, "The Death of the King" will play for two weeks at the Theatre
Centre, with a subsequent 1-week tour to the ODC Theatre in San
Francisco. 

Timeline
Workshop: September 22 to 27, 2015
Rehearsals: March 1 to 28, 2016
Production: March 29 to April 10, 2016
Tour: April 12 to 17, 2016

Audition Information
This is an Equity production under the ITA agreement. Actors of all
ethnicities and cultural backgrounds are welcome to apply. Only actors
selected for an audition will be contacted. Actors with experience in
physical theatre will be prioritized. Selected applicants will receive
sides to prepare in advance. Please also prepare one monologue from the
classics.

Audition Dates: July 20 & 21, 2015

pdf format. Documents must be in pdf format. Keep size of photos to a
maximum of 1MB, please. 

Deadline for applications:  July 14, 2015

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
