Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The Thousand
Islands Playhouse is committed to diverse voices and performers in our
annual summer season. Performers of all backgrounds and ethnicities are
encouraged to apply.

Additional information: The Thousand Islands Playhouse will be holding
General Auditions this March in Toronto. Auditions will take place on
Monday, February 29 and Tuesday, March 1 in Toronto. Associate Artistic
Director Rob Kempson will be in attendance.

Successful audition applicants will be asked to prepare the following:
Two contrasting monologues, each NO LONGER than 2 minutes in length.

OR

One monologue and one song (sung a cappella), each NO LONGER than 2 minutes
in length. You may choose to accompany yourself for your song if you play an
instrument.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Those who have auditioned for Ms Corcoran or
Thousand Islands Playhouse within the last two years need not submit.  You
are encouraged to send an updated resume and/or headshot for our records but
you will not be invited for a general audition this year. Performers of all
backgrounds and ethnicities are encouraged to apply.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume, headshot, and cover
letter to auditions at 1000islandsplayhouse.com, attention: Rob Kempson,
Associate Artistic Director. Please clearly indicate your Equity status in
the SUBJECT HEADING. Electronic submissions only. No phone calls please.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT:  Wednesday, February 24, 2015 at 5:00pm

We thank everyone for their interest, but only selected applicants will be
contacted to arrange an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
