Ethno-cultural mandate / casting statement: The Capitol Theatre and The Port
Hope Festival Theatre encourages submissions from artists of all diverse
backgrounds
Additional information: The Cameco Capitol Arts Centre (a.k.a. The Capitol
Theatre and The Port Hope Festival Theatre) is a Non-Profit Regional Theatre
that has been rebranded and restructured under new management and artistic
direction by Antonio Sarmiento with a team of 4 staff, 14 Board Members and
160 Volunteers.

In 2016 the Capitol Theatre will present 2 Musicals:  "Crazy For You" and
"Mamma Mia!".  We will be cross casting 13 members of "Crazy For You" to
also be in the ensemble for "Mamma Mia!"

Leads: June 7, Full Company June 14
Closes July 23

"Mamma Mia!"
Leads only July 5th, Full Company July 12 (Will already be here for C4U
Closes September 10th with possible extension to September 25th.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
