Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
All of Theatre Terrific’s classes, workshops, community, and professional
productions are made up of people of all colors, abilities, genders, and
backgrounds. At any given time, a cast or class may include people who may
have mental health issues, developmental challenges, physical challenges, or
simply practicing actors who want to learn new methods of inclusive theatre
development.

Additional information:
Auditions for the workshop for Mutti Hat Nichts Gesagt will take place on
Monday, January 11th, 2015 at the Green Thumb Theatre Studios, located at
5522 Mackinnon Street. The workshop will take place Feb 15-26, 2016. The
full production will occur in Spring 2017.

The audition is run as a group theatre ensemble structure using the ritual
process of enter, enact and exit. The audition will include voice and
physical work such as viewpoints and Suzuki. A simple two-person
conversation script and song will be introduced.

What we are looking for are artists who can work with an inclusive casting,
are committed, willing to collaborate with those who may be different,
adventurous, generous and open to unique methods of theatre creation. Please

DANIEL: (20 to 40)
Daniel must be played by an actor who has cognitive differences, true to the
character.

JOE:(25 to 40)
This actor may play additional roles.

MUTTI: (35 to 55)

RACHEL: (4 to 21 over the course of the play)

RENATE: (35 to 55)
This actor may play additional roles.

THE MAN: (40 to 60)

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
