Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: We welcome and
encourage actors of cultural diversity and visible minorities to submit to
our audition.

Additional information: Rehearsals begin Oct. 31, 2016 in Vancouver. Two and
a half weeks rehearsal.
Opening Nov. 18, runs to Nov. 27, 8 pm (Mondays dark) at Performance Works,
Granville Island.
A new dark comedy, "Green Lake" by Katey Hoffman, directed by Rachel Peake,
produced by Solo Collective. This is a show about a young woman reconnecting
with a deadbeat dad years after he dumped her at a camp at Green Lake. Dark,
surreal and bittersweet, this play is about daughters and fathers and crazy
camp counsellors.

Two parts for auditions:

JANE: 13 and 25 years old. A floundering preteen experiencing summer camp
for the first time. An irresolute young adult confronting her dad for the
first time.
SKITTLES: 15 and 27 years old. Jane’s Camp Counsellor and a failed Barista.
A bundle of energy with a bone to pick. A loner weirdo with swagger. A
smart-aleck joke covering up a secret pain.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
