Additional information:
Carousel Players seeks a STAGE MANAGER for the production of Tick by Matthew
Mackenzie. Contract is for 1 week prep, 4 weeks rehearsal, 4 weeks school
tour (possible 1 week extension).

The contract will be under the terms of Section 55 of the CTA – Theatre for
Young Audiences.

Duties include:
• Preparation of rehearsal hall
• Attending all rehearsals
• Producing and distributing daily schedules and rehearsal   notes as
required
• Preparing performance script for tour
• Driving company vehicle
• Supervising and taking part in set up and tear down of set, props,   and
costumes at each school
• Setting up and tearing down audio equipment for each performance
• Operating technical equipment during performances (e.g. QLab)

Key Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Theatre for Young Audiences
• Previous experience in school touring
• A love of experimentation, exploration & solving puzzles
• The ability to be flexible during creation & concrete during the tour
• An understanding & appreciation of children, their worlds and point  of
views.
• First Aid and CPR-A
• Driver's license

Upon hiring, a Police Vulnerable Sector Check must be completed.
