Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Superior Theatre
Festival encourages and welcomes submissions from artists of all diverse
backgrounds.

Additional information:
Night Wings by Eleanor Albanese centres around a 12 year old girl named
Molly. The year is 1938 and Molly's world includes her brother Juri and her
nearby grandfather, "Ukki". The family is under strain, not only because the
father works out in the timber camps for weeks at a time but Molly has
additional challenges due to the fact that she has vision loss.

Additional information: Actors are requested to send a photo and resume.
Only those actors granted an audition will be contacted by the engager with
an appointment time.  Actors auditioning will be required to perform a scene
from the play that will be sent in advance of the audition.

All actors must be willing to travel to Thunder Bay to begin rehearsals on
July 11, 2016 and remain there until the show closes on August 7, 2016.

Characters: Superior Theatre Festival is looking for adult actors who can
play young for these roles.

Molly: Molly is turning twelve years old. Molly has had vision loss since
childhood and has less than 10% vision.

Juri: Juri is a fourteen year old boy. He is Molly’s older brother.

This audition is open to both Equity and Non-Equity members.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
