LIFE AFTER is the story of 16-year-old Alice, who is trying to navigate
life after her father, Frank Carter, a super-star self-help guru, smashes
into a truck while driving and sends her headlong into a search for
meaning.
SEEKING
Frank Carter: Bari-tenor. Charismatic, somewhat self-involved and still
loving Father. A self-help Guru. Mid-to-late 40s.
Alice Carter: Soprano. Frank’s daughter - 16 years old. The production’s
central character; strong, confused, open, vulnerable.

Kate is away at school and glad to be so. Intense, smart, and vegan.
Beth Carter: Soprano. Mother to Alice and Kate, wife to Frank –
early-to-mid 40’s. Beth tries hard to be all that she thinks she should
be; mother and wife - and somewhere along the way, she got a bit lost.

bit of a wise zany.
Ms. Hopkins: Mezzo. 35 – 40. Alice’s favorite teacher. Intelligent,
