Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
This collective is built on artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. As
such, we encourage submissions from all artists, including those who
self-identify as culturally diverse. We champion artists who represent the
entire spectrum of identities and abilities.

Additional information:
At this time, Everything but the Bard Theatre Collective is inviting
submissions of interest from female actors who wish to be considered for the
role of MARGARET THATCHER in a new comedy premiering at the Next Stage
Festival, January 2017. Rehearsals are set to take place in December.

The Death of Mrs. Gandhi and the Beginning of New Physics is written and
directed by Kawa Ada. It boasts an all-female cast.

DESCRIPTION:
It's 1984. Indira Gandhi is dead. Her bestie, Margaret Thatcher, is left to
deal with the funeral. And all their frenemies.

ROLE:
Margaret Thatcher (age 40 - 60's range): sharp, ambitious, overbearing
leader who will do anything to retain her place in political history. RP
dialect.

All other roles have been cast.
