Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: WCT encourages
submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race,

Additional information: Western Canada Theatre is holding General Auditions
in Kamloops. Newly appointed Artistic Director James MacDonald will be in
attendance.  Details about our 2016/17 season are available on our

General Auditions will take place Monday, September 26th, 2016.

Successful audition applicants will be asked to prepare the following:

Two contemporary monologues, each NO LONGER than 2 minutes in length.
OR
One contemporary monologue and one song (sung a cappella), each NO LONGER
than 2 minutes in length.

PLEASE NOTE: These auditions are for Mr. MacDonald to be introduced to the
local talent. Only actors local to the Kamloops area will be seen at this
time. Additional General Auditions will be held in the spring of 2017.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume and headshot to
heather at wctlive.ca.  Please put GENERAL AUDITIONS in the subject line.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT:  5 pm, Friday, September 16th, 2016

We thank everyone for their interest, but only selected applicants will be
contacted to arrange an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
