Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: We welcome
submissions from actors of diverse backgrounds/ethnicities.

Additional information:
The Chemainus Theatre will be holding auditions on September 19th at The
Carousel Theatre for Pride and Prejudice, directed by Julie McIsaac.
Production dates Feb 16 – March 25 2017. Rehearsals begin January 23.  All
roles under consideration including; Lizzie, Mr. Darcy, Mr. & Mrs. Bennet,
Jane, Mary, Kitty and Lydia, Collins and Wickham. Actors who play
instruments are encouraged to apply. Please submit a headshot and resume to
Victoria Caldwell: vcaldwell at chemainustheatre.ca by Sept 14th. Only those
granted an audition will be contacted and sides will be provided. No phone
calls please.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
