2017-2020 ALBERTA BALLET AGREEMENT RATIFIED

Recently negotiated changes to the 2017-2020 Alberta Ballet Agreement
(ABA) with the Alberta Ballet were ratified in a mail-in vote (only)
concluded February 20, 2017.

The voting return rate was 82.9%. Regular and Regular - Extended Visa
members, in good standing and who worked under the ABA during the
2014-2017 term, voted 96.6% in support of the proposed changes.

Minimum fees will increase 2% in the first year, 1% in the second year and
2% in the last year of the ABA. Overtime, fight captain, and singing and
speaking role rates will increase by 5% in the first year and remain the
same for the duration of the Agreement. The per diem amount is unchanged.

The ratified changes come into effect on July 1, 2017, and the ABA expires
on June 30, 2020.

The new ABA will be available on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) as
soon as possible. Please contact Equity's National Office in the interim
