Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
lemonTree creations welcomes submissions from all artists particularly those
who self identify as queer and culturally diverse.

Additional information:
lemonTree creations is presenting the World Premiere of Raf Antonio’s play
ROPE RUNNING OUT inside the lemonTree studio in downtown Toronto (58 Stewart
St.)

Roles:

Felix, mid twenties – early thirties, male, a pianist and film composer
(Must be able to play the piano, and be comfortable with nudity and sexually
explicit queer content. Singer/Songwriter would be an asset)

Lobo, male, indeterminate age, a drifter.
(Must be comfortable with nudity and sexually explicit queer content)

Production Dates:
Rehearsal May 2 – May 13, 2017
Previews May 14 and 16, 2017
Opening May 17, 2017
Closing May 28, 2017

Those selected for an audition will be provided with sides to prepare. If
you’re auditioning for Felix be prepared to play the piano and/or sing an
original song. Nudity will NOT be required for the auditions.

Both Union and Non Union can submit. Equity Members will be seen first.
Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under some form of
CAEA contract.

The lemonTree {studio} has stairs at the entrance and is not fully
accessible.
