Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The vision of
the Newmarket National Festival is to promote the diverse voices and
perspectives of artists from every region in Canada.  To that end, The
Newmarket National celebrates diversity of all kinds whether in its casting
choices or selection of plays for the festival program.

Additional information:
The Newmarket National Ten Minute Play Festival features 24 plays from
playwrights across Canada, divided into four shows (or pods) of six plays in
each. Performances will be at two different town venues on July 22 and 23,
2017, with a preview of three of the shows on July 21. Actors may be cast in
multiple roles.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
