Additional information:
Grey is an original play by Chantal Forde that examines the life of Charlie
Alexander and his son’s killer, Richard Buttle. Though the act of murder is
definite, the circumstances surrounding it are not.

Actors will play more than one role. We are currently seeking:

Charlie: Male, black, aged 30-50, kind, optimistic, good sense of humour,
the father of the victim (will be played at various ages between 25 and 52)
Jayden: Male, black, aged 16-25, is charming as equally as he can be cruel,
the victim, the bully
Richard: Male, white, aged 18-30, though he may look intimidating, he is
insecure and stutters when uncomfortable, the killer
Tracey: female, black, aged 20-30, strong, smart, and loves fiercely,
Charlie’s young wife

This production will be part of the Toronto Fringe Festival which runs July
5-16, 2017

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
