Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The Belfry
Theatre encourages performers from all cultures, races, ethnicities, and
gender identities, mental and physical abilities to apply for an audition.

Additional information:
The Belfry Theatre’s Artistic Director, Michael Shamata, will be holding
General Equity and Non-Equity Auditions: June 16 & 17, 2017 in Victoria, BC.
(Vancouver General Auditions to be held at a later date.)

Please prepare two audition pieces of approximately three minutes each: one
Canadian piece and one other of your choice – Canadian, classical, or
contemporary American or British. Please no self-written pieces, or pieces
from plays that have not been professionally produced.

Please submit resume and headshot to The Belfry before June 11, 2017.

Priority given to Equity Members and Equity registered apprentices – please
note your membership affiliation(s) on your resume.

You will be notified of an audition time on June 12 by 7 pm.  If you have
not heard from us by then, it means we don’t have room to see you this time.
Priority given to those who we have not previously auditioned, or have not
auditioned recently.

Forget About Tomorrow by Jill Daum
Salt Baby by Falen Johnson

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
