Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: GCTC operates
according the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA), annually presenting a
subscription season of six productions. General audition priority will be
given to artists whose work is unfamiliar to the artistic director. GCTC
promotes an environment of equity, inclusion and diversity. Artists from
under-represented communities are encouraged to apply for a general audition
time. All artists are invited to remove measurements and physical features
from the resumé.

Additional information:

The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) is holding general auditions for
the upcoming 2018/19 season. Please note: GCTC’s 2018/19 programming will be
announced in March 2018.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only successful
candidates will be contacted to arrange an audition. Please do not call the
theatre to confirm receipt of package.

Artists who have been working regularly in Ottawa and whose work is known to
the company are urged to send a letter of interest and updated headshot and
resumé for our casting files.

PHOTO AND RESUMÉ FORMAT – IMPORTANT
To be considered for an audition, please submit a cover letter and ONE (1)
PDF file that includes both an updated headshot and resumé, and save the
file using your name as the file name. (ie: Smith.Jane.pdf).

If necessary, you may instead submit a hardcopy of your headshot and resumé
to the mailing address below.
