Directors Lab North - a directing lab based in Toronto, geared toward
professional practicing directors in all stages of their career.

Now in its 8th year, the Lab fosters a national and international exchange
between a community of emerging, mid level and established career directors
that need a safe space to explore and connect with like-minded peers.

Participants are exposed to foreign techniques and practices, broadening
their scope and repertoire. It is a series of workshops, readings,
investigations, roundtable discussions, shared sessions and master classes
led by Canada's foremost theatre practitioners.

Directors Lab North takes place in Toronto but is a national and
international initiative, welcoming Directors from all across Canada and
abroad. It is based on our experience with our time at the Lincoln Center
Directors Lab in New York. We are now partnered with the Luminato Festival.

Directors Lab North is being generously hosted by the Tarragon Theatre from
Sunday, June 17- Sunday, June 24, 2018. A maximum of 25 - 30 applicants will
be admitted. The LAB is free of charge but if accepted a $25 registration
fee will apply.
