CANADIAN THEATRE AGREEMENT (CTA) TO BE NEGOTIATED IN 2018

The CTA is set to expire June 24, 2018.

Due to an early May date for the Professional Association of Canadian
Theatres' (PACT) Annual General Meeting, negotiations between Equity and
PACT will commence end of January 2018.

All Equity members are encouraged to contribute to the review and
negotiation of the CTA. Please email any suggested proposals for change or
amendment to agreements at caea.com no later than JANUARY 12, 2018.

Pre-negotiation discussions between Equity and PACT have just concluded.
Topics under discussion for the upcoming negotiations will include:
- Marketing/Publicity/Promotion
- Non-standard engagements/Workshops
- Repertory theatre provisions

Questions regarding the review and negotiation of any of Equity's
agreements or engagement policies may be emailed to agreements at
