Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: We are open to
submissions from actors from all cultural backgrounds.

Additional information:

The Classic Theatre Festival in Heritage Perth, Ontario (an hour south of
Ottawa) is the Ottawa Valley's only professional theatre company. Our 2018
season consists of the following:

There's Always Juliet by John van Druten
Rehearsals start June 5
Runs June 22 to July 15

Mrs. Warren's Profession by Bernard Shaw
Rehearsals start July 3
Runs July 20 to Aug. 12

Angel Street (Gaslight) by Patrick Hamilton
Rehearsals start July 31
Runs Aug. 17 to Sept. 9

Performance schedule: Tues. to Sun. at 2pm; Wed. and Sat. at 8pm

In particular we are seeking to cast the following:

Female Lead - age late 20's to early 30's, British RP accent, upper class,
charming and carefree

Female Lead - age late 30's to early 40's, British RP accent, upper class,
anxious but with hidden strength

Female Character - age 50's to 60's, working class British accent, motherly

Male Lead - middle aged, British RP accent, upper class, suave and
authoritative but bitter

Male Juvenile Lead - age early 20's, British RP, upper class, pleasant,
pretty, smartly dressed, cleverly good-for-nothing, with a charming voice
and agreeably disrespectful manners

Male Character - middle aged, British RP, upper class, bumbling

Male Character - middle aged, middle class British accent, greying, short,
wiry, active, brusque, friendly, overbearing

Please indicate which role you would like to be considered for, and what
your preferred audition time would be. We appreciate everyone who submits,
however only those who secure an audition time will be contacted. No phone
calls please; all inquiries by email.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
