The Municipal Forestry Institute (MFI) is being held February 20 - 25
2011 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

MFI is a high-level training opportunity that furthers the education of
urban forestry professionals in the leadership and managerial aspects of
urban forestry. MFI will help you to:

*         Develop a leadership approach to your position;

* Think and plan strategically to advance your urban forestry
programs;

* Work effectively with boards, coalitions and non-profit
organizations; and

* Manager the relationship between people and trees.

Many Canadian cities have sent urban forestry professionals to MFI in
recent years, and graduates of MFI have stated that it is among the best
training experience that they ever had. Here is what John McNeil of
Oakville Ontario had to say about the program: "MFI delivers on its
promise to mold leaders in urban forestry."

If you want to move yourself or your Urban Forestry Program to the next
level, check out this site for detailed information and registration
before December 15 2010.
