Soils and Urban Trees Conference - Biltmore Estate NC - June 19-20, 2014

In this two-day conference, leading experts will introduce you to the
critical elements of soils and urban trees. Six  international speakers will
showcase new approaches to growing healthy trees by literally looking at the
roots of tree care, from soil structure to microbiology.

Join Paul Stamets, Jim Urban, William Bryant Logan, Joris Voeten, Peter Wild
and Philip van Wassenaer for a unique series of lectures and field
workshops, set amongst the spectacular facilities and forests of the
Biltmore Estate

Sponsored by Asheville GreenWorks and the North Carolina Urban Forest
Council this educational event  is open to all who are interested in
improving the growing environments of trees in urban areas, including
arborists, landscape architects, urban foresters and planners, ecologists,
and anyone with passion for learning about the latest research and
advancements in soil-related tree health.
