Hi Rick, Phil and Julian et all

Tom Smiley at the Bartlett Tree Research Facility in North Carolina has a comparative study on suspended pavement system on going right now. The study includes Stata Cell, Silva Cell, different types of Structural and Sand based soils.

The first years data has been released. Tom will be formally presenting it at the ASLA show later this year.

Hi Folks,

Anyone know of a faculty member/researcher performing formal evaluations of urban trees growing in suspended pavement "cell" systems (e.g. strata cells, silva cells, etc.) in the built environment?

Thank you!

Rick
