Years ago? 10 ??  there was a big" citizen science" project to collect and mail samples of all species of these spotted beetles  project based on postal codes for presence of the invasive species - did a fabulous poster
so control not a factor but area found was.  perhaps CWS did this

Does anybody have problems with japanese beetles , and what was done to control or get rid of them . Does anybody developed a strategic approach toward this pest ?
