The Ripple Effect - Our forests in a changing climate
Regardless of where we live, forests play an indispensible role in our lives. Our forests are valued for an incredible range of environmental, social, and economic benefits and are the backbone of healthy ecosystems. And, forests will play a vital role in addressing climate change. Forests will have an essential task in the implementation of both adaptation and mitigation strategies at the local, regional, national and global scale. While climate change will send ripples throughout society, the environment and the economy, it will also breed innovation and creative problem solving. Our forests may just prove to be the solution. Join us on February 9, 2018 at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston, as we discuss the challenges and opportunities of climate change.
Speakers and sessions include:
* Keynote Speaker: Mark Robinson, Storm Hunters
