[CANUFNET] SFI Webinar on Urban-Forest Certification

Hi Philip,
I would hesitate to support a government developed UF qualification for a
couple of reasons. First and foremost, the exposure to changes in
governance can expose the program to a vulnerability that comes from the
priorities or ideologies of elected officials.

Second, I am dismayed by the lack of funding and attention paid to the
necessary upkeep of government-funded qualifications I already hold.
Industry change is rapid, and for a qualification to facilitate and not
throttle that change requires significant resources to stay relevant.
