The City of Toronto wants to buy a piece of private property where a beautiful red oak tree has been growing for a century or more, and to turn the property into a park, open to all.

The fundraising effort for this began in 2019 but slowed considerably when the invisible virus appeared back in March 2020.

Now, the City of Toronto is urging people to help make its fundraising effort successful. If you donate to the tree's preservation, you can give your donation as a holiday gift to loved ones and friends...no carbon footprint is associated with such a purchase. In fact, you acquire a karmic carbon bonus by doing your part to keep this massive tree safe from human predation.
