[CANUFNET] Helmet Safety

Our industry Standard requires at least a Type 1, Class C or E hardhat, and that is the typically hard hat/helmet sold by the arborist supply houses. Actually the Standard is silent on whether Type 1 or 2 is needed.
 
I don’t believe our standards include side protection for hard hats. If you are in an aerial lift, then the assumption is that you are working near overhead electrical hazards so a class E hard hat is required, but side protection is not a necessity for that PPE, either.
