Good Day Jessika
I am the arborist for the Town of Carleton Place and Chair the Urban Forest Advisory Committee. We work extremely close with the Director of Development and any municipal tree removed must be replaced.
If for any reason a municipal tree is removed by a developer it must be replaced by the developer. Saying that we try and protect municipal trees and ask the trees be protected during development.
In short yes to all your points
Jim McCready R.P.F./ Certified Arborist
