The City of Calgary is hiring for an Urban Forestry Tech Supervisor to manage a team of Urban Forestry technicians and ensure effective team dynamics. You will be responsible for the implementation of the tree protection bylaw, other bylaws with tree protection or planting (e.g. street, land use) and, landscape design specifications for trees and development reviews. You will ensure consistent methodology for all tree valuation, tree risk assessments and compensation in support of development permits, claims against and damage to city tree assets.
