In Canada, Acecap 97 (PCP# 21568) is only registered for use on birch for
the control of aphids (and specifically only green aphids, which is
bizarre), and for birch leafminer. I'm not sure I would use such an
invasive procedure, with an organophosphate insecticide for either pest,
which rarely threaten the mortality of the birch.

On linden, it's only registered for use against elm spanworm.

The City of Edmonton did look into Acecaps many years ago when looking for
something to use against cottony psyllid, but we wound up modifying the
label of Orthene 75 with an injection instruction instead. That injection
instruction has since been switched to Orthene 97% Soluble Granule Systemic
Insecticide (PCP# 29499).
