Regarding the use of ACECAP to push growth, I would suggest that the last thing one should do with a stressed tree is to push growth artificially.
Instead, of an ACECAP bandage, look at the probable causes of poor growth and support the tree’s preferences so it can manage its own growth. Try looking at the soil volume and other elements that directly impact a tree’s ability to grow and solve the problem that way rather than force feeding which only increases stress levels.
