Costly but with time it should be the municipal options. It’s been talked about with the Ministery of Transports : Crystals of yellow beet juice is effective at minus 30Celcius.
I am using it since last year on private pathways. No shrub or tree loss, no hurt to animals.

Good afternoon,

I was looking for information on eco friendly products for de-icing pathways in parks  that are eco friendly to vegetation and pets.  Anyone out there using something other than rock salt, calcium chloride ect?
