Hi all,

Sharing a job opportunity with for a Manager of Parks in Camrose, Alberta.
Full ad is here:

Camrose has a large amount of greenspace for a small city (and the real
estate is still quite affordable!), but I'm highlighting primarily because
the position could use someone with background and technical knowledge on
urban forests to build out and continue to grow the urban forest
opportunities that exist in Camrose. One of those would be the potential to
collaborate, partner and utilize locally grounded and active urban forest
research with myself, colleagues, and students at the UofA Augustana
campus. Certainly the job also includes a significant
management/administration aspect (and also other parks and greenspace
management), but if you are looking at growing your career and moving into
a management role this seems like a really excellent opportunity that could
use someone with an arboriculture background.

The Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta is located at ᐊᓯᓂᐢᑲᐤ
ᓰᐲᓯᐢ (asiniskaw sipisis - Stoney Creek) in Treaty 6 territory and a
traditional meeting ground for many Indigenous peoples. This land provided
a travelling route and home to the Maskwacis Nêhiyawak, Niitsitapi, Nakoda,
and Tsuut'ina Nations, the Métis, and other Indigenous peoples. Their
spiritual and practical relationships to the land create a rich heritage
for our learning and our life as a community.
