Hello,

The City of Charlottetown is looking to install a raised concrete planter that is "bottomless" and soil in the planter will contact soil at ground level. The height of the planter will be around seat height as it will have a bench incorporated into it and the length and width is about the size of an average parking spot.

Does anyone have experience planting trees in a similar situation and had either good or bad luck with certain species?

Thank-you!
Jessika
