[CANUFNET] Does your municipality protect trees on private property?

*Does your city have a bylaw protecting trees on private property or have
a permitting process for cutting down trees on private property? *
Edmonton's City Council will consider options very shortly and we are
looking for statements from people in Canadian municipalities where there
is bylaw protection for trees on private property or a permitting process
for cutting down trees on private property.
*We need statements from municipalities where protecting trees on private
property is working. What is working, why is it working?*
