We need to identify climatic/environmental issues that affect the tree calculations and get over politics or more people will be injured.
Remember the crane that toppled because forestry calculations were used to lift an urban tree? My investigation of the accident revealed, we need different charts for prairie, urban, high moisture….Translated: unless we’ve got a rich uncle funding everything, we need to get along.

Hi,
Thanks for Identifying how dependent we have become on another countries program.
Until there is widespread provincial recognition of Arboricuture and Urban Forestry and its positive effects on communities, we will continue to lack concerted resources to address this and other industry issues.

Subject: [SPAM] [CANUFNET] i-Tree tool -Candian equivalent and/or applicability?
Hello CANUFNET,
I'm a regular member of the public tree lover that has been on the listserv for a few years.
I came across iTree (i-Tree Tools - Calculate the benefits of trees! <https://www.itreetools.org/> ) and I wonder if a similar tool exists for Canadian calculations and/or if the tree calculation benefit is valid for Canadian trees?
Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated,
Megan
