The Canadian Urban Forest Network, with support of Tree Canada will be hosting its biennial virtual Atlantic Regional Workshop on January 8th 2026 from 9AM - 12:30PM AST.

There will be 3 speaker sessions, with opportunity for questions and discussion at the end of each:

Session 1: Mark Fredericks, Senior Planner (Wolfville, NS)
Wolfville's Urban Forest - Taking Action and Developing Policy
Session 2: Griffin Kaleva, Chief Operating Officer of Arbor Nursery (Charlottetown, PEI)
Growing, harvesting, and planting trees in Atlantic Canada
Session 3: Scott Holman, Victoria Park and Urban Forestry Supervisor
Don Cameron, Chairman, Truro Urban Forest Committee (Truro, NS)
Strengthening Communities Through Urban Forestry: The History and Impact of Truro's Urban Forest Committee
