Placement Opportunities for Young Women!

12 positions are available

 

TAPP is now accepting resumes from women for the Female Employment
Mentorship (FEM) programs starting in September 2007 under the Skills Link
Program of the Federal Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRDSC)
Department.

Under Skills Link program, women who meet the required standards will work
on a paid 23 weeks work placement in the private or public field under the
mentorship of the Female Employment Mentorship (FEM) program. 

 Women will learn skills in technology, office management, publicity and
focus groups, writing & presentation, project planning, organizing meetings
and many other areas during a paid 4week placement preparation period. They
will be challenged personally to focus their lives, and to set and achieve
personal and career goals for themselves during one day workshops at the
TAPP facilities.

Program Requirements:

Must be 18 – 30 years old, must be a Canadian Citizen, Cannot have a
full-time job, Cannot be in school

Be” high risk” individuals (for example: single parents; unemployed;
homeless or danger of homelessness; aboriginal; ex-offenders; public housing
residence; on social assistance)

Job Qualifications:

Be ready to work hard, be ready to be on time, be ready & willing to
challenge yourself

A resume must be submitted before September 14, 2007 to TAPP fax (613)
