 Two exciting (and free) conferences in June, organized by the Low-Income
Energy Network (LIEN)

*LIEN Annual Conference:* Tuesday, June 10th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at
the Oakham House, Ryerson University, Toronto
A gathering for anti-poverty, affordable housing and environmental advocates
to share experiences and engage in an action agenda on low-income energy
issues. One of the main themes will be how Ontario's poverty reduction plan
and its long-term affordable housing strategy must both address energy
poverty.

*LIEN regional workshop:* Wednesday, June 11th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at
the Oakham House, Ryerson University, Toronto
A workshop on how to organize a low-income tenant-led energy conservation
program in your community. Hear about the lessons learned from past
tenant-led programs in Toronto and discover ways to engage tenants in energy
conservation at both the household and community level. This workshop,
hosted by LIEN, will be run by the* Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA)*.
