We are issuing a Heat Alert for Monday June 9, 2008 as it is forecasted the humidex will be greater than 36 for the next two days.  This first Heat Alert goes out to our community partners as well as to the public through the media outlets to make people aware of hot weather precautions and resources available.  

Please contact me if you would like to be taken off this distribution list or if you know someone who would like to be added. I can also be reached for resources. We will be sending out hard copies of the Hot Weather Resource Kits this week to those who have requested them. Soft copies are available at ottawa.ca/health.
