This Globe and Mail story today (see below) makes mention of John Edwards'
endorsement of Barack Obama today, and Obama's support for Edwards' new
campaign to cut poverty in the US by half in 10 years.  A positive and most
welcome development with implications for setting the bar at least as high
for Canada.
