New LGBTTQ Youth Leadership Camp

Call for Applicants for the Youth Advisory Committee

 

The Ten Oaks Project (TOP) is planning to launch a new leadership program
for youth and allies of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit,
queer) communities in 2009.

Building upon the leadership model of Camp fYrefly in Edmonton, Alberta, and
working collaboratively with the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa and the
National Capital YWCA-YMCA ... 

we are looking for 8 youth to help us make this happen.

 
Are you...

*	Living in the National Capital Region (Ottawa and its surrounding
area)?
*	Looking for volunteer opportunity and have some free time to give?
*	Interested in the needs of LGBTQ youth and their allies, and in
getting involved in the LGBTQ community?
*	Between the ages of 16 and 24?
*	Wanting to assist in the establishment of a fun, fantastic,
supportive, challenging, amazing Leadership Camp for 2009?

 

Apply to become a member of the Youth Advisory Committee!!!

 

Applications are due by June 10th, 2008
